  • What time is check in?
    Your room is available from 3 p.m. at the latest. You are welcome to arrive earlier and deposit your luggage with us.
  • I arrive after 8:00 p.m. - what do I have to consider?
    Tuesday to Saturday our reception is open until 9:30 p.m. On Monday, Sunday and public holidays we are there for you until 8 p.m. If you arrive later, please send us a short message (hotel@gschirn.at) or call +4362258229. We will be happy to leave the key for you at an agreed location. Please note that if you do not inform us that you will be arriving after 8 p.m., we can give your room to someone else!
  • Is the restaurant open every day?
    Our restaurant is closed on Mondays. Hotel and Vital Center are open until 8:30 p.m. Our bar is also open for our hotel guests on Mondays (until 8:30 p.m.). For dinner we would be happy to recommend one of our close colleagues (e.g. Landhotel Gastagwirt , about 250 meters away). On Friday the restaurant opens at 18:00.   • I need to cancel my booking - what are the costs?
    If you have booked your room directly with us, please inform us immediately. When booking directly, cancellation is free up to 1 day before arrival, after that 100% of the booking amount is due. When booking through a third party, the usual procedure there must be followed. Cancellation costs will be charged depending on the price selected.
  • Can I bring my pet?
    Your dog is welcome on a leash in the hotel and in the restaurant. However, please note that your dog is not allowed in the Vital Center and other areas of the hotel. Your dog stays for free if you register in advance, but we reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee if necessary. Cats or other pets are not allowed in the hotel.
  • I have an allergy, food intolerance or follow a certain diet. Is that a problem?
    When reserving your room, please let us know that you need a room with wooden floors and hypo-allergenic bed linen. We are also happy to accommodate special diets - please let us know in advance if you have any food intolerance - this way our kitchen team can cater to your needs.
  • Do I have to bring my own bathrobe?
    No, you will find a spa bag with a cozy bathrobe, bath towels and bath slippers in your room. Shower gel, body lotion, soap and a hygiene set are also available in the room free of charge.
  • Can I store my bike or golf bag with you?
    Yes, we have a room for golf bags and a big bike storage room - both of course locked.
  • Is your hotel accessible by wheelchair?
    All areas - with the exception of the Vital Center - are wheelchair accessible. Only a few rooms are suitable for wheelchair users (but not wheelchair accessible according to Austrian standards Ö-Norm)
  • How can I pay at the hotel?
    We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Master Card, Diners Club, American Express, JCB and EC/Maestro. Cash payment in Euros is also possible.
  • By what time do I have to leave my room on the day of departure?
    Check out on the day of departure is until 11:00 a.m. You are welcome to use our Vital Center all day long. A later check-out is possible, but subject to availability and at an additional cost.
  • Is smoking allowed in the hotel or restaurant?
    Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the hotel, restaurant or Vital Center. Ashtrays are available in front of the entrances and on the room balcony. In the event of non-compliance, we will charge a cleaning fee.
  • What happens if I forget something at the hotel?
    If you forgot something at the hotel during your stay, please contact us by email or phone. If the lost item is found, we can send it to you if you wish, or keep it until your next visit. We take the liberty of charging the postage (parcel label Austria from EUR 4.12; Germany from EUR 9.92). There is no service fee.
  • Do I have to bring my own cot?
    We'd be happy to put a cot in your room - please let us know when you make your reservation. We also have high chairs available in the restaurant.
  • Is there a discount on green fees?
    Our hotel guests benefit from discounted green fees on all courses in the Mozart Golf region. We would be happy to book the tee-times for you.
  • Is there an e-charging station at the hotel?
    No, unfortunately we do not have a charging station at the hotel, however, the next Salzburg AG charging station is only 250 m away. There are additional charging stations in the town of Eugendorf.
  • I would like to pay a deposit - what are your bank details?

  • Is there a bus connection to and from Salzburg?
    Bus line 130 runs from the main train station via the old town of Salzburg to (almost) our front door. We are happy to provide a bus map at the reception.
  • Is there WiFi in the hotel?
    Yes, all of our rooms and areas in the restaurant have free WiFi reception. You can find more included services here.
